As somebody who has worked 2 decades in investment banking, trading and always looking for real economics behind everything, I am starting to see the real impact of Bottom Up polices of the new government. Everybody is wondering what changed for Kannada cinema in 2nd Half, well the government changed. To put it simply, when middle class and lower middle class are given any incentives in any economy, they generally have the confidence to spend on entertainment and some small luxuries of life. So when the government puts some incentives they enjoy some personal time, thereby creating multiplier effects. This doesn't happen if you incentivise very Rich, it just goes into their savings, because they are already enjoying all luxuries. This is not written with any political leaning, it's a popular economic model, which is quite evident in Karnataka. If you notice, there is no major change in non Kannada movies market, there may so.e decline in them because more high quality Kannada movies are gaining theaters at the expense of non Kannada
