WOAH!! I found a recording software called playstv included with my moboard. I deleted it. Slightly overclocked with after burner and now my frames are 120 and even in arma 3!!! Not bad considering how cheap this card was.

Can you describe to me what you did in the HUD for the low-level flying? I've never seen that before and when I just went through the A-10C manual I didn't see anything about it when I tried searching for "low level flight" or similar terms. Thanks in advance

IFFCC switch, then display modes and radar alt on. Its just a radar alt tape that shows up on the right hand side of your HUD up to 1500 feet. It's a nice visual reference of the ground that I'm aware of subconsciously.

Out of curiosity, what did you guys use to learn proper air-to-air coms and terminology (ex stand off range). The landing at the end with proper coms was almost as enjoyable as the combat. Awesome video! Cheers

Nope, there was nobody on really at that time, we were more or less just screwing around. For the second episode though we had a whole gang of guys working together and within just mere minutes of attacking a base we had several choppers standing by to take it over with more guys on CAP holding off the enemy with A-10s working the SAMs all at the same time, etc and so forth. It really is a kick ass video. Look forward to it.

ralfidude will do, as always. I've played some BF myself and I know what do you mean, when everyone works together and it all works out. And ofcourse when nobody works together and it is just a mess. Had quite the hearthbreaking moment in round 9 where we were defending our last bases with everything We've got. One morning, was just 4 or 5 of us and we tried capping Kutaisi. It was all good SEAD cleared the long range SAMs, I was working on the Ground Attack and we had Mitchi (what a legend he is, I'll explain why at the end) in the chopper on standby. CAP was RTB after taking out the Intercepters. As I am looking trough my TGP, marking targets, we hear the SEAD pilot on the radio say "Guys, I lost situational awareness" with a german accent. Next thing you know MW, I look out the cockpit towards the airfield, the guy is overflying the whole airfield! Shilkas litting him up, missiles, everything and he somehow got out without a scratch, but he activated the Kobuleti Intercepters.... and in a rush I cleared almost the entire airfield, but it was too late ... One of the MiGs was on my tail and that was that. But where was the other MiG you might ask !? He had actually picked up Mitchi in his Gazelle and was trying to gun him. Mitchi, as the legend he is, was having none of that and actually gunned down the MiG with the gunpods on the Gazelle. Sorry for the long post

I'm a noob. Question: on the landing, noticed the aircraft seemed to get extra loft once you were close to the ground. I have this happen to me all the time and thought I was doing something wrong. I'm assuming that it's not normal based on your reaction.

There really isn't any ground effect of that kind in DCS. There is some that just makes you float but not to this degree. This was something else, still trying to figure that one out myself.
