Rally Indonesia is Jaw Dropping | art of rally

With the release of the Indonesia update for PC players on Thursday (22nd September 2022), I think we can finally say that art of rally is back. It’s been more than a year since the last big update in the form of the Kenya expansion, and we're truly excited to get back into it.
The new Indonesia update for the top-down rally racing title includes six new stages - mount kawi, semangka bay, satonda island, oreng valley, sangeang island and kalabakan valley - plus a new freeroam area called kabeana island. We’ll be taking a look at a selection of those stages which will take players through the various islands, jungles, and beachfronts recreated in the new content.
While many wouldn’t associate Indonesia with the Rally discipline of motorsport, there are a pair of official Indonesian rounds of the 1996 and 1997 World Rally Championship season, both won by Carlos Sainz. There was also that moment in the 1997 event where Colin McRae’s Subaru caught on fire and there was pandemonium. Fun times.

fun fact that first CMR and Michellin's Rally Masters had 1998 Rally Indonesia Stages, which is very Addictive stages for Rally game at that time, and some aspect of Rally Indonesia does appear in SEGA RALLY 2 as "Muddy" stage/level

forgot to mention that, but honestly V-Rally2 indonesia track aren't memoriable yet generically generated, sorry but don't get me wrong I enjoyed V-Rally2, espcially spain and alpine, blind hairpins is where I enjoyed the most in that game

This is some great news! I didn’t have any idea they were adding locations. When I finally found a Series X to buy I couldn’t wait to download this game. I’m not a speed demon by any stretch,but I really love this game. I loved it so much that when I finally found a PS5 I purchased it on there. Anymore Art of Rally is definitely a plus on your channel!

How does this game feel to play? I love "conventional" rally games, but I really could not enjoy Absolute Drift (I also hate the mandatory drifting sections in other racing games like Project Gotham Racing).

@@Kultivater I wouldn’t say that’s a fitting definition of beauty. Things that aren’t at all realistic can look incredibly beautiful - take cel shading and 2D animation for example. Furthermore, striving for realism can lead to things looking very offputting - that’s the entire concept of the uncanny valley

I don’t know about you, but I’d take the art direction of Breath of The Wild over Mass Effect: Andromeda in a heartbeat.
