For those who want to know what's the song about. This is a breakup song, she is breaking up with her boyfriend, but looks like she actually doesn't want him to leave her. She keeps telling him that is over and to not worry about her, but then she also asks him to stay one more time, to sit with her, and she eventually gets a little upset if he starts to move on ('you are finally looking straight and not at me") I love this song, it really tells how difficult for some people is to keep a healthy relationship cause they keep sabotaging it.

here's the english translation. hope y'all have a good day. Trying not to feel impatient, I live without looking behind me Even though we obviously won't be meeting again I keep going from day to day, just like that Two coconuts on a swaying palm tree One paradise we missed the chance to go to We've dried up like grass by the roadside It's so difficult, There's not really anything like it We're not together anymore; Don't be affectionate We're not together anymore We're not together anymore; Don't worry about me too much We're not together anymore; Don't say things to me that you don't mean Just sitting around gets a bit jarring I get angry for no reason Just like always, I head for the riverside I walk until I'm out of breath We're not together anymore; Come sit next to me We're not together anymore We're not together anymore; I'm making you worry, aren't I? We're not together anymore; Well, maybe just one last time-- What time was I supposed to go home again? You tell me: "Don't be so weak!” And this front you're putting up has me frozen still: You’re looking straight ahead, and not at me You're looking straight ahead, and not at me We're not together anymore We're not together anymore We're not together anymore Because you're just looking straight ahead We're not together anymore Even though my body's still steeped in this love
this song feels like coffee. warm, creamy, and bitter specially now that I just ended a 3 year relationship, I can totally feel and relate to the song more. The subtle loneliness that you haven't felt for a long time, doing the same mundane things with the lingering feelings inside, having no choice but to accept the bitterness and move on. just keeping a straight face ahead. this song feels like coffee, and like coffee it helps you wake up and once again look straight ahead.

I think she looks very sad in this video. Seems to me like this is a break-up song. It has that "lost love" nostalgia to it, and how she acts in the video reminds me of someone who has lost something important and is trying to "keep things normal" but it comes back at them in the end and they just have to deal with it.

Most mature breakup video ever? They don't hate eachother. They can still joke around a bit, albeit awkwardly. Makes it feel like a relationship that just kinda ended, maybe not necessarily because of any bad things. But she's still maybe sad that they broke up, like kind of a bit lost. No you're totally right, I was thinking the same. I found this song about 4 years ago, freshly out of college, just broke up with my ex because his family was moving overseas and we couldn't stand the distance. It wasn't a violent goodbye. Much like this one. We both mutually decided that maybe it was time we went on different paths to grow as individuals. It was difficult at first, getting used to doing things by myself. But everyday was a step towards being okay with it. I still listen to this song often. And it reminds me only of good memories.

This song/MV is about breakup. Their final moments together may seem cute or responsible but it's extremely melancholic, because it's truly the final time they will see each other. Feelings of loss, erasure and moving on. Exes staying friends is not a good idea because nothing will stay the same between the two after heartbreak. I'm going to have to do the same this week with my ex. He'll need to grab the last of his things and then it's goodbye for good. Cutting off someone who was the center of your life is hard, falling out of love is harder.

I disagree about staying friends. Either you loved the person for a reason (or reasons) or you didn't. Just because you can't get along well enough to be lifelong partners doesn't mean you can't still get along. It's like you're saying 'if you can't love someone, you have to hate them.' I still talk with my ex, and I try to give her good advice and help with our kids. Just because we couldn't be a perfect couple doesn't mean we can't still be very good friends.

I remember listening to this a not too long after a breakup, shortly after this came out actually. My ex showed me this one night after we decided to take a break. I think I knew he was going to break up with me then but I didn't want to admit it. He said, "This is what we might have to do. This is the way it might be." Honestly it broke my heart. Finding this song again 4 months after we got divorced and I know how the girl in the music video feels. I still cry myself to sleep at night but there are days where I don't think about him or us at all. I'm moving on slowly, slowly. I hope one day I'll be okay again. That I can find myself happy again. Also at the end where she's by herself in her room watching a movie is me all the time now. But I think I'm doing my best to move on. I'll be alright. Edit: omg I come back to 433 likes. Pls don't get this popular I don't want him to find this comment lmao. On a side note, I'm in a new happy and waaaaaaayyyyyy healthier relationship. I used to think I was broken and toxic and could never love someone the way I do now. Of course I'm still a bit toxic as I'm working on myself constantly. But the person I'm with now helps me through the bad times and I help him. For everyone who wondered if they could ever move on; the answer is yes. Slowly, we regain what we lost. We gain it back in ourselves, our work, our passion, our hope. And eventually, it all falls into place. There are still days where me ex's presence creeps into my dreams. But I wake up and shake him off (I can do it more easily now) and go on with my day. It doesn't feel so heavy anymore, the memories. I know a year from now I'll forget the past and keep moving into my future. You can do it! I believe in you! 💕

Had the same experience and almost ruined my life but I got over it although it took me 3 years to recover fully. After that I've never been to relationships and found myself tired of romantic stuffs. Now I'm just planning to live my life alone and maybe travel the world and just immerse myself with hobbies.

I know the feel. Took me at least 5 years to get over my ex. And just when I wasn't anywhere ready to be in a relationship I met someone. She taught me how to love myself over everything else (including her) and we are married now. I now look back at life and see why things just happen. It's going to be okay.

this song has always been my comfort song since 2021 (it reminds me of my past relationship)

Same… If you feel like crying again check out ‘mol74-kanki’. The music video uses the same actress and the song is reminiscing about a past relationship
