He is such an absolute master. Even at crazy tempos, he plays everything with such intention. No BS whatsoever. Highly underrated, IMO. If he didn't have such a stoic stage presence, I think he'd be enjoying a much more high-profile career right now. I also love the way his tone has developed in the past decade or so (since this recording was made). There's a kind of clarity to his sound now that I like, especially in the upper register. Awesome work Wesley, that must've been quite a mammoth undertaking!

Agree. My first thought is that he probably wasn’t moving at all through this solo - stoic, focused. In total control.
