Im from Chile, and here we have afternoon tea every day, every family, everywhere, even if you are at work, you give yourself a moment to have tea and some cake. I dont know how this got into chileans traditions, but its just like she says, afternoon tea is perfect to just relax for a moment and enjoy with a friend, family or just alone. I go almost everyday to swim and relax at the beach, just laying in the sand its already so relaxing, then go to a good place near, at the mall, an enjoy a good quality tea with a fresh apple strudel or a maracuya cheese cake, and just enjoy it, and then, up to the second floor, where you have a long terrace with the most beautiful view of the ocean, and sometimes watch the sunsent. It is exquisit, and i always feel grateful to be able to enjoy moments like that.
