He sure is. I was honored to meet him in 2016. At the time, I was going through treatments/surgery to not let it get to breast cancer. I told him that I was not feeling well but wanted him to sign my Outsiders book. He hugged me and told me that he was praying I would get better just so I could be able to go to the next Comic Con to meet him again.

For sure he also naturally has always looked young (he was well into his 20s when he did Karate Kid), but let's not pretend he hasn't had a little help. Which is fine, by the way! I really enjoyed this interview with Ralph, what a sweet man and how is he 60???!!! - damn he looks good! I started crushing on him when I was 11 and had posters of him all over my room. I took my camera to the movie theater when The Karate Kid came out and I was snapping photos of him off the screen. Someone called me an idiot - lol The Outsiders is one of my all-time favorite movies and although I have seen it countless times, the hospital scene still chokes me up.

The Outsiders was made thanks to a Librarian at Lone Star School in Sanger, California. I was a 4th grader there and my brother was an 8th grader. He actually signed a request that was sent to the movie studio. Amazing...all the actors later visited our school....

Seeing these 2 adominable forces from the 80's actually together is mindblowing!!! Drew blazed to stardom in Firestarter(great movie and great soundtrack which has yet to be released in a complete edition)and Ralph of course in his Katate kid movies and his criminally underated movie Crossroads which is hardly mentioned or ever in interviews. These 2 great actors never got a chance to work together in movies but it is so great to see them together here!!!
