Thank you Ralph for the great video. I was choosing between the two, favoured the claw due to the larger strap compatibility but eventually chose the slot down engagement of the falcam rather than the claw. I feel that its more secure

As I've toyed with both over the months, I reckon the slot down Falcam will come out on top in the long run. Good choice.

the falcam losens if bumped it's very annoying. You tighten it all the way and one bump and the bottom is lose.

Quite the dilemma, Ralph. For ease of use (in terms of release) the Falcam has it; I don't like the idea of having to 'plug-in' the Claw - it's just too fussy. Great comparison - Happy New Year to you & yours !

@@RalphMayhewPhotography Have you tested the Falcam to see if the 3 Legged Thing ZELDA (with additional Peak Design clip) or ELLIE PD (built in Peak Design Clip) will fit? Great video by the way.

As I use the Falcam F38 Quick Release Camera Strap Clip I was hoping these L-mounts would fit. Thank you so much for replying

Falcam heavier on camera if using two, one for horizontal on smallrig and another for vertical?

Yes but only marginal. Biggest challenge is the feel of it in your hand and how it sits in your bag.

I read a comment where somebody had changed the bolts for regular screws so the star shape didn't dig in anymore.
