Ram 1500 Rebel Gets a Carli 1500 Performance Suspension System

SWEEEEET! That's the system I wanted and the shop I took my truck to talked me into a ICON system and it SUCKS. Horrible ride all shocks were leaking less than a month old. Took pictures and sent to them because I was out of town and I wanted to document it. When I was able to get it back in they rebuilt the shocks and CHARGED me for it! If you're in Arizona do NOT take your rigs to SDHQ absolutely horrible experience.

I got icons on my ram 1500. Front rides really nice in my opinion but wow is the rear ever rough. Doesn't matter what valve position I put it in

Awe man, no desert running shots you are famous for! Curious how this compares with stock Raptors and TRXs.

Colby was in full X Games prep mode when we filmed this, so we were limited on time. That said, Raptors and TRXs will be softer on the street as they have dynamic live valving shocks, but this is about as close as it gets off road. This system pretty much maxes out the capability and travel of a truck that was never really designed for that kind of usage, while the TRX and Raptor were essentially frame up built to have more travel etc.

Was there any rubbing from the front with the 35" and -12 offset? If there was, what did you trim? It would be great to see a video on how your shop trims the 1500 to fit larger wheels and tires.

It is not. The air suspension would need to be removed in order for this to be installed.

Did they put on the front diff brace?

There is no differential brace or cross member needed. Differential drops are only needed with taller lift systems.

Anyone happen to know if a 18 x 9.5 wheel with a -18 offset would work with the carli performance system using a 35 x 12.5 tire?

-12 with 35s pushes it on these 1500s since they have so little space, so we would not recommend a -18 offset wheel

It's a game of millimeters on these 1500s so the wheel specs are key!
