Ive been going through one of the darkest times of my life, today I woke up and decided that I'd listen to Ram Dass talks all day. In presence. The healing I'm experiencing is immense. Forever grateful for you. Thank you from the core of my heart.

I like his talk about “the witness” rather than identifying. I like how in Spanish they don’t say “I am”, they say “I have”. Instead of “I am sick” it’s “I have sickness”. Not “I am hungry”, but “I have hunger”. Not “I am 38 years old”, but “I have 38 years”. That distinction to me vastly changes the way an English speaking mind thinks. There’s a permanence to identifying as “I am this” versus the temporal “I have this”, and it’s not a part of who I am, my being, it’s just something I have now and later I won’t. Peace n love to all of you!

Also in Spanish there’s two different words for “I am”, one which is permanent, one which is temporary. Our teacher said “for how you feel, or where you are, always use the verb estar.”

This is another brilliant talk. Ive listened three times already. I feel Ram Dass is here with me. I love him deeply and am so grateful that he completed his Dharma. That he shared his experiences with the world in a way that is just what Ram Dass does, with heart, humor and compassion. ❤ His blend of psychology and spirituality is so available. I feel he is a universal teacher. He inspireds me to continue, to be better - and to just BE 🥰 🙏🏼 Ram Ram 🦋

I am here now. Ram Dass found me on youtube about a year ago. I started doing daily yoga on youtube and I guess one thing lead to another. It is a pleasure. 🙂

♾️❤️♾️ Thank you so much. I love this video, I’ve been studying Buddhism and Hinduism for a few years. I really l love that saying “choice-less awareness”. I’ve known Rameshwar Das for about 15 years out in the Hamptons on Long Island ( when he gave me a copy of the beingRam Dass I had a very spiritual experience when Richard Alpert and Neem Caroli, baba were talking about his mother , and even in the and you are indeed out of nowhere. I had a weeping, blessing situation, so it was really weird. Never told anyone for over a year googled it And found out it was a thing then found out there was a book called the thousand miracles I was already on my spiritual ascension path for many years, but that was the catalyst that sent me on my spiritual traditional path thank you so much for sharing Namaste🕉️

I miss feeling annoyance and frustration at Raghu's long-winded introductions. They were an excellent spiritual practice, especially in cultivating patience. Where is my brother?

Rather have no intro. But I'll take this lady over Raghu any day bc she is faster to start Ram Dass and she doesn't stroke her ego like Rahgu in all of his intro.
@JaiSriRam1777 Жыл бұрын
This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as elucidated by the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows. Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content. Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves. Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content. Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago.
