*Ingredients:*
- 1 cup yellow moong dal
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Oil for frying
*For the Chutney:*
- Green chutney (mint and coriander)
- Tamarind chutney
*Instructions:*
1. Soak the dals for 4-5 hours, then drain and grind them into a coarse paste.
2. Add ginger, green chilies, cumin seeds, salt, and coriander leaves to the paste. Mix well.
3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
4. Serve hot with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
