Man i love you for making this video, i saw a couple of videos on how to install this and i got confused because the rubber part went all the way inside the stem and i wasnt sure where to cut. then i see this video of you installing the mount on the EXACT bike that i have :D thank you

It helps a lot when using the X-grip mount with the phone to hook the tether around the bottom edges of the phone first so that the grips aren't being pushed up towards the power and volume buttons.

Thanks for the video. I have an x grip clamp for my cruiser but want to get one like this for my cbr. I had that problem with the rubber arm pressing my phone buttons also. What I did was just remove the two top rubber grips. Once the flappy back thing is secured on my phone, it wouldn’t move. Works fine.

Use rubber for the washer not the metal one that comes with it. Won't move around

So that cap you remove on my zx 6r it fell off and it rained so now there is water stuck inside.. how do I get rid of that water or will it rust anything up 😞 my zx6r only had a plastic cap not nut

DR Demon Yes, no problem if the stem base is pointed down. It can be positioned higher or lower by rotating the base.

chasiu75 hey thank you also you know the bit at the bottom you put in before the nut, I think it’s to big! You know how there’s 5 sizes, it’s the middle one ☝️ you might be able to get it tighter 👍😊✅🇦🇺

It should grip the bottom of the rubber with the ridges in the plastic. Try to test it outside the motorcycle first.

I had/have the same issue, I tightened it off the bike some more but I can’t seem to get the plastic washer to bite down on the rubber, every time I tighten it, it just expands the rubber, so I stick it back in and try to tighten the bolt to secure it to the bike and it just spins again. I took some of the glue that was in the box and put it where the ball and washer meet and where the bolt goes through the ball mount so maybe it’ll help hold it from just spinning around. Only thing I know to do is to take the stupid plastic washer off and replace it with a metal one and tighten the nut from the bottom
