I saw you didn’t have the phone with the 3 cameras - but in the future - the LRS will destroy the camera on the newer phones - just tested out the quad lock vibration dampener - works good so far 🙌🏻

I saw your video notification, and I was very anxious to watch it, just haven’t gotten a chance yet. Very good to know! Hopefully it works long term. And yeah, I am worried about that when I eventually upgrade phones lol. Right now I’m too cheap so I’ll keep my paid off phone till it dies!

what do you do for vibration, I used a Ram mount, xl xgrip with claw, on my motorcycle handlebar and my camera broke, cost me a lot of money

I currently use the ram ball, a quad lock anti vibration mount and quad lock phone mount on both my nikes. They work perfect

This exact phone mount ruined my iPhone 12 Pro Max.. no crash I was going 150... ruined it but I didn’t use the rubber straps ..

I have since switched to the ram mount with quad lock vibration dampener and hone mount/case. I have an iPhone 12 and it works great

And when you say ruined. Do you mean because it fell out or because of the vibration ?

Thanks for the update . And yes my phone went flying off the ram mount on i95. I pulled over to the emergency lane and actually retrieved it and it had been ran over multiple times . But I’m ordering the mount you have now. Hopefully it’s much better for higher speeds .

I gotcha. Well yeah, ram provides the rubber straps for applications like that and that’s the way it’s intended to be used it’s just that most of us don’t use it for that for a typical riding and only used a little rubber feet. But the mount I use now is safe for current phones with the camera vibration crap, and it’s super easy and very secure. I think you’ll like it a lot

I know. Check my newer stuff. At the time of this video quad lock was barely a thing. I e been using quad lock for over 2 years now

Dont waste your money on RAM mounts. Many a story of phones popping out. Quadlock is wayyyy better

Quad lock was not really a thing when I did this. Since this I’ve switched to quadlock and have a video on that too.

Did you use the stretchy rubber band type material on all 4 corners of your phone in addition to the arms?

@@RidinDad the strap broke within 2 days of owning. RAM shipped me new and improved straps which took over a week to receive. So it wasn't strapped properly, but for it to fall off on a flat road is absurd. After the incident I emailed them asking for a refund, they offered me a new mount. No thanks, I don't trust your product. They should have just given me a refund and a self addressed box so I could ship their crap back to them on their account. The product is garbage. If the strap is the true mount, then buy a bag to mount on your bars.
