How to delete the tire pressure settings for aftermarket wheels on 2013-2021 Dodge Ram Trucks 1500 2500 3500 using Alpha OBD App and OBD Dongle. This works for Windows and Android Tablets. This is how to completely remove and disable the system so no more warning lights!

🙏🏻 thank you for this post you solved a problem I had by doing your delete I upgraded to a premium dash in my 2018 3500 The tire pressure system went away on the screen after I started the truck and scrolled through the settings No ram forum was able to give me any answers yet until I watched your video to see turn off the setting for basic and premium I went in turned off the basic turned on the premium and now it’s on my dash thank you 😊

This got rid of my tpms light but now my key fob doesnt work to unlock/lock the truck. Doors dont also lock with interior lock button...any insight?

Sounds like the RF hub needs another sync. I would resync the RF hub and let it sit for 30 minutes and try then.

Is there away to change threshold for warning light to come on. I have 35’s and max pressure is 65 psi. Looking at light all the time is annoying.

Yes, there is a separate menu for changing the thresholds. It will be under the car configuration change

2013 Ram. So I got this to work to remove the TPMS error from the display screen, but the icon still flashes and is illuminated. VehConfig 3 Base TPM system present- NO VehConfig 3 premium tpm system present- NO VehConfig 5 non regulated tire pressure information system- NO I also reset the hub properly with the pin. What am I missing?!

This could be solved way easier if they let us set the min/max PSI on the dash without needing to go out and use a separate program.

I’m having a problem I haven’t found a solution for or seen anyone else have. I have a 2013 dodge power wagon with the 5.7, it has a heavy load mode and a light load mode, it’s in heavy load right now causing it to drive weird, get lower mpg then supposed to. Slower through gears, to change your supposed to press the inflation button and supposed to want 60 in front of 45 in back to change to light load but mine says it wants 60 in the front and 127 in the day, now that’s practically impossible to out a tire to 127 on it to change to light load. How do I change the 127 to 45 as it’s requirement for light load change

Ok so question when I get to the part where I've put in my PIN and then hit start, it says procedure failed at the bottom but at the top says please wait. What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure the pin is correct?

@@brandonmagnan464 pin was correct, I still needed the sgw bypass module at the time. I got everything fixed, main thing afterwards is to recalibrate the ABS censor modules.

Yo I got a question for you! I recently bought nitto ridge grappler for my 2018 ram rebel I went stock size 285/70r/17 the maximum psi is 44 instead of 55 from previous tires! How do I clear those codes?

I did all of this a few.months ago to use my winter wheels. Now ive got everything set back to factory because im back to my wheels with sensors. I got the menu to come back, but its all -- on all 4 tires, and the service TPM system lights and alerts have not come back on to indicate a failed sensor. Its as if its only partially workinf

Just reverse the steps. Turn on either the premium or basic setting, and reset the RF hub again for the settings to take effect. Braaaaaaap!

Thanks for the video. I'm having a issue with 2019 ram 1500 everything went fine except when I try to reset hub it says fobik is not inside the vehicle or the fobik inside the vehicle is not programmed to the rf-hub

Alpha OBD App, did you use the full or free version? My Ram 1500ST is from 2014. The tire pressure numbers are constant and don't change even if the tires are over or under-inflated. One tire shows as low pressure even though it's not. Every time I start the truck the low-pressure warning in the middle flashes and is distracting, and the orange warning light is also on. I would really appreciate your help.

@@brandonmagnan464 Thank you sir. I managed to shut it off fairly simply. When I decided to change the tire circumference all hell broke loose. Lol. Took me a while to get that all sorted out. It seems to be working great now but I'm afraid some of the settings are still not configured correctly as changing the circumference changed a number of seemingly unrelated settings. I could not engage the abs after changing the circumference and it changed a lot of information. I tried my best to correct the mess but I wouldn't recommend do that. There is another place which is required that you also change your circumference. That helped a lot. Anyhow thanks.

There maybe real reasons to do this but having the tire pressure to check readily available is really worth fixing the problem. If you're tires are under or over inflated it would shorten the life of the tires and other parts. For 4x4 or all wheel drive the transfer case will get destroyed prematurely if you have one tire low or high (mismatched) on pressure for long periods of time. There is also gas mileage suffering and of course safety (remember Ford Explorer rolling issues -of course you don't that was a billion years ago). If you want to delete this make sure you check your tire pressure manually on weekly or even daily bases. Many functions are added to cars for the F$%k of it but not here. Also even when the system is running you should once in a while check the readings manually to make sure the electronic readings are honest.

If you had actually listened to the video, the reason is aftermarket wheels with no way to add compatible tpms sensors for these trucks.
