Ramadan in China? What is it like in Shanghai? Is there taraweeh? How is iftar?

Salamu Alaykum,
Its Ramadan!!
By the blessings of Allah we have made it to another year.
Alhamdulilah, may Allah accept our fasting and prayers.
This year I am spending my ramadan in Shanghai, China.
Are you wondering what it is like for me here.
Well, I will take you along to see what iftar and taraweeh at Huxi Mosque is like. If you are in Shanghai, definitely make a pit stop at this masjid. It's an amazing community.
This is a snapshot of what Ramadan is like for us here in Shanghai. However, as you know, many of our brothers and sisters in other parts of China, especially in Xinjiang, do not have the same freedoms. Keep them in your duas this month and always.

How do you know they don’t have the same freedom in Xinjiang?

Nobody knows to be honest. It just politics honestly, and politics always have lots of confusing especially when people view them all with personal bias. But i wouldn't believe the main stream medias like BBC, CNN, Fox News and others, because main stream medias are known for always exaggergate contents in order to get readers attentions, thats how they make high incomes, some medias also use actors to make fake testimonies towards something happened. In fact, those medias are not even run by muslims and they hate muslims a lot, what makes them to care about Chinese muslims in Xinjiang? Have you thought about that? Overall like i said before, no one knows, it is impossible to apply logics in politics especially if you heard both sides have a point. Our opinions at this point are not facts, either you agree or not agree, it just personal bias, and personal bias never facts!
