Don't let your parents negatively impact your growth as a person and your family life - your future Mrs will not appreciate it or respect you if you do. I am a woman who has dealt with a controlling mother in law who made me and my husband argue a lot, and I didn't fully respect him until he started to stand up for me and us as a couple. Live your own life.
