He sang ' o rama nee namamentha ruchi ra" when he was given Salt Rotis to eat by Tanashahs soldiers as a torture. Rama nama rasichchunde avar antha uppu rotti ya saaptaraa aitheegam. andha naal, aranmanai la irukkura ella saapat porul taste illamal aiduthu. Tanashaah adangi poyittaru nu aitheegam.

Thanks for bringing the Haridasa Sahitya and its meaning. While you barely scratched the surface of Haridasa Sahitya it’s a good start. My only complaint is about the meaning of Karnatic music. It’s from the saints of Karnataka. Don’t distort that. It’s uncalled for.
