On the 5:12 mark I saw a cool-looking antenna and asked my dad (who's an avid radio amateur) for some details on it. It's called Yagi-Uda antenna and was actually invented in Tokyo in 20s-30s.

I lived in Kaminoge 1989-1994. My apartment was only around 15 minutes on foot from Todoroki Keikoku, and I often went there when I needed some peace and quiet. Back then the ravine wasn't well known. However, I've noticed in the last several years many foreign vloggers posting about the area. I hope all this attention won't end up ruining the atmosphere that made it such a relaxing place to spend time.

Such a crystal clear day ☀️💙 ! Your autumn colors' shots are scenic🍁🍃🍂... Enjoyed the everyday vibes at the start of the movie, the birds singing - wow the sound is so natural, silent steps, flowing water, crunchy leaves, human voices, even noisy cars didn't make me nervous 🤣. It's good to explore Japan with you🤗👍❤ !

Also never seen a Jizo like the one around 24:00 with its own little small enclosed (shrine?). Neat that it has small votive offerings and flowers. Probably someone who lost a child or similar.
@brianflynn535511 ай бұрын
Jizo protects living children & travelers as well. Japanese people take good care & show a lot of affection for their local shinto & buddhist deities for various reasons. During winter, people will put beanies & scarf on their local ojizo-sama to keep him warm 😊
@Zach_Bloomquist11 ай бұрын
Yup in poplular japanese buddhist practice it is also sometimes associated with travelers. Thanks@@brianflynn5355

So you just walk around with a camera filming people and they're ok with that? No one gets upset and there's no law against it?
