Thank you John for making these videos. I’m a 100% disabled Iraq war vet shut in. These allow me to see Japan from a first person perspective, and I watch your videos every day to unwind and relax from the day. You are a great help to me and I thank you. Im so happy for you and your family, thank you for sharing your amazing life with us virtually. May you always be blessed.

Love this area. So much of the Odakyuu line area around Noborito neighborhood has a feel of Tokyo area during the showa era, and still can find alot of nature integrated into the neighborhood. I think the odakyuu line station area from Noborito to Tamagawa-gakuen mae are my favorite stations.

Noborito? I've always wondered about the 'no burrito' thing actually - does Japan have any burrito chains noawadays, like Chipotle? Can you even get burritos over there full stop? I like these small town walks - especially if it involves rivers or overpasses.

What day of the week do you usually record, because everything seems so calm, even when recording in urban centers. I find it strange because here in Rio de Janeiro it's just crazy. Hahahaha

Problem is everywhere in Japan looks like urban center, even middle of nowhere :) people are at work, children at schools, pandemic has its impact to, you have date and time in the description.

How do you create the Google maps views for your walks? I noticed during my holiday in Japan in 2019, that Google did not completely record our movements and that there were gaps in the history quite often. Do you use some kind of app on your mobile phone or some other device to record the exte routes you take?
@Rambalac2 жыл бұрын
No, I draw them manually. Recordings are too noisy and/or too many points.
