Jill you are not only a very talented bead artist, you are a fabulous teacher. Your upbeat personality and the positive vibes you share with your students is such a pleasant experience. I made a bracelet like that years ago, and forgot the pattern. When I came upon your video, I was so overjoyed. Thank you so much. I know you live far away in another state, but meeting a celebrity like you would be a great pleasure.

Hi Jill; love your project tutorials. You explain each step fully so someone just beginning can follow along. And best of all, unlike a lot of others who make tutorials, you keep your project in-frame so we can see each step. Thanks for ALL your tutorials, keep'em coming.

Sewed it on wrong lol. Love your designs and the pdf instructions were very easy to follow. Thanks again Jill. Your avid fan Kim from Canada.

I am not laughing at all. I had to take apart a necklace 6 times one time after getting a few inches down doing a diamond duo necklace , and 4 of the times I did the same mistake. I was doing on the diagnal and I didn't like the way the clasp was going on, then the diagnal kept getting off kilter. . patience and determination got me through it, but I was like, really!!!! I didn't swear, but I was frustrated so bad. that's when I get up and take a quick break. lol. I totally understand! you are to be commended for letting us feel okay about being human. keep up the good work! I hate snaps too. never thought to put them in a bracelet!!!

Another thing that you could do is get a permanent marker, put the snap together so you know which sides are the sides that need to go together, open it then mark the sides that snap together. The marker ink will wear off but it's not going to show. Then you simply sew them onto the bracelet with the marker side up.

Just discovered you via Pinterest, and I'm so happy that I did!! This bracelet is gorgeous. Your teaching style is wonderful. You are articulate, patient, and you describe everything perfectly. Not only would I love to make this one, but I have a vision of an undersea version, with a lovely ocean blue base, coral instead of the vine (but using basically the same technique), and having ocean elements attached (anemone? seahorse? shells? etc. Not sure how I would accomplish those last 2). You don't happen to have a video/tutorial for something like that, do You? In any case, I reallllly enjoyed your video, your instruction. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!!

i sew alot, also if you want them to match, space them apart on tape then take magic marker put on back and will leave a mark and they won't be cattywompus does that make sense? practice with paper.

@charn.38918 жыл бұрын
Hi Jill! I have never done any beading. This project is sooo beautiful! do you think i could try make a belt out of this technique? Also i was wondering. Do you start with a thread as long as you would need for the base? or do you attach another thread at some point? and how do you end a thread. do you have to knot it multiple times?
@padmavathichathapuram12889 жыл бұрын
Hi Jill, another great tutorial!can't wait to try it, my fav colorway is the brulple! All my colors! One thought, would the flower work as a toggle clasp?Would it work? I am afraid I would yank too hard on the snap closure.
@JillWisemanDesigns9 жыл бұрын
Padmavathi Ramachandran You would have to raise the flower above the base by a bead or two in order for there to be space underneath for a loop to catch. So it wouldn't be the easiest fix in the world. Maybe a magnetic clasp would work better for you?
@padmavathichathapuram12889 жыл бұрын
Jill Wiseman Thank you so much, I am an avid follower of your videos, and truly, you are an amazing teacher, you inspire me, even now when I am living through a huge remodel, I still watch your videos and bead!

to keep your snaps in the right direction, snap together then when you unsnap them lay them on a piece of tape that is not real sticky.
