Ford trucks turn signals started in 1953 , but for earlier models you could've bought after market and installed yourself ! Companies like JC Whitney sold them ! And in the later kits there were a shortage of the control stems , don't remember why , just know getting a kit and stem was hard to find ! I don't know if factory turn signals on the cars started in 1953 like the trucks or not ?

Super duper deluxe, Sweet classic. I'm looking for an older model Truck, to pull a camper. Something definitely with a V8, 3/4 or 1/2 ton, preferably w/o Electronic ignition, but either way. Newer models are too damn expensive.

Wow a very gourgeus ford flathead v8 gives a great sound smoth and silent, could you get this awsome car with automatic transmission, maybe some kind like powerglide, love the color and the interior, heat here is so intense so you staying in Doors, our cat mildred memory 🐱 is inside it is too hot for her to ramblin around, she loves My t shirts, thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy every moment ✌️ ✌️ ☀️ 🤩 🤩 from tom your friend now and always, give My love All beans Sam asher erika and the New puppy, 😍😍👌😊

This is a really nice 1946 Ford Sedan.This is a nice color too.Nice condition and looks like it was well maintained.Love the body style of these and these cars with the divided windshields look so cool.Nice interior,love the way those doors close,this is a solid car.Nice car!.Thanks for the uploads Jeff!.😎

Not much difference between the 46 super deluxe and the 48 only a for door for the out side of the car worth the money for the condition

My dad this model, but a dark blue. I remember one night we, me, younger brother and my dad were riding around. I was riding shotgun, brother in the middle. Came to a long straight road and was asked if I wanted to go 100 mph. I said okay, i was 5 or 6. Watched telephone poles go by like a picket fence...scared? YUP. A couple of years later traded for a super beautiful 1955, new, Buick Special.

Similar shape/style to the 48 Ford Mercury my father had here in NZ. He said it was the best car he ever owned. I recall riding in it on trips from Dunedin to Morven - I had the whole back seat to myself! Must admit, I do like the styling of these immediate post war cars.
