This is our latest video for our friends at Manns Restoration. They recently completed the build on this awesome 1960 Chevrolet Impala "flat top" sedan. It's powered by a Don Hardy 6.2 Liter LS V8, backed by an automatic with overdrive. It features a Roadster Shop chassis, Wilwood disc brakes, adjustable coil-overs, A/C, power windows, power locks, remote entry, remote start, custom stereo, and full custom interior. The interior is done in the original style, but with upgraded materials. We hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

The Old Impala's had a lot of Class... I had a black 1962 with red interior (My mom's hand me down) standard everything... 283-2 barrel, manual steering, and brakes... but it was a beauty 2-door, immaculate shiny black paint, red interior, speaker in the middle of the back seat, with dual exhaust and chrome pipes...replete with small playboy bunny stickers on both sides inside the small real windows. :) haha Those were the days!

My 1960 was also white. It was a convertible with rally racing interior and trim. I bought it 8 years old. It was a great car and a real looker.

RamblinAround - well, if I’d just been able to ride in an Impala of that year, I’d have thought I’d died an’ gone to heaven... So it’s difficult to describe just the visual of that interior and under-bonnet, let alone sit an ride and have that motor under your right foot. I can only hope that it’s just as much an assault on the ears as that interior and under the hood is on the eyes... Well done all @ Mann’s and RamblinAround in completing the car and making the film to the standard that you have. It’s fascinating to me just to think of what folks will make of both the car and your film another 55+ years down the road, as they will surely both be around then! And, looking at some of the individuals featured, they’ve a chance of being around to to look back at this car and your film of today...

RamblinAround - FYI - whilst I loved the film throughout, just as I was preparing for it to come to the end, the overview of the interior from the driver’s side @ 5min+ and the fade to the overview of under the hood literally took my breathe away - the ‘wow’ moment of the film for me!
