I love Poe, but everytime i read his stories my writing style changes drastically. I found this when looking for something to read while i write and you can see the shift in the story lol. I just adore my deeply inconsistent writing style. Anyways- I love this video, I too am heavily prone to rambling. It made great company for my writing. The Black Cat is a great story (one of my favorite, but Berenice will always be my favorite Poe story). You're reactions and rambling made this video a lot more fun. I had very similar reactions my first time reading this story. It's so wild- the whole thing is jsut- so much. Fun Fact! Poe had a pet cat named Catterina, apparently she was a beloved tortoiseshell.
