Oh this just reminds me that I wanted to read Hesse's book to see if the game makes more sense then. I hope you read the Bindging by now to have a better experience with the author.

I completely agree with you. I found the writing fine, but couldn't understand how the game is actually played? Why people were prosecuted? and the ending, it was so blah. Means Claire forgives him, the rat has only 3-4 appearances and she plays such an important part, still we only get to know about her in 3-4 chapters. I thought the ending could have been more interesting, it didn't feel like an ending.
