I'm 67 and have been a diyer my whole life. Never asked for help. Now I have to ask for help all the time. I hate it cause as you said in my head Im doing all these things and planning my day but then I realize I get tired after a few chores and have to rest. I miss the days when I was strong and had energy.

Yes I know what your taking about. I'm 66 years old. I'm getting enough protein with caffeine and that help me get things done.

I can relate to being strong once upon a time. I'm a 65 year old stroke survivor that mourns my old self, but grateful to be alive. I enjoy your videos, especially when you go places and let us see what you are seeing. Thank you. ❤

I can relate to missing the do do do Stacy! I’ve had both knees replaced and some complications and I’m full of arthritis so my do do do is done too. Always did things myself and got it done, so it is a mental process adjusting to this situation I find myself in. God Bless you and your Dad, we love your videos! 😊❤

Hi Stacy! Your sweet cat looks so good for her age! Not sure how old our oldest cat is. Maybe 13 or 14. My daughter comes upstairs (she lives in the basement too!) and she complains about she didn’t sleep well. She sleeps with 2 dogs and maybe 3 or 4 cats! I told her that’s probably why! You know what a pain 1 cat is imagine it 4 times that! She refuses to kick them out! I couldn’t have 1 animal in my bed! My hubby doesn’t count! lol. Also wanted to mention that Michigan is bringing back Hot and Now in some areas! Hopefully near Port Huron! Have a great weekend! I like watching those car auctions too! I had a 73 Cougar years ago. Hubby promised to find me one. Mine was in mint body condition but always had engine problems! See you soon hi to humper!

Tell Pops to pick me up a loaf of bread too. I'm all out. It's a warmer day here today in Virginia. Still a little snow on the ground. That cold air was brutal this week. My hips have hurt so bad at night I can't sit up and have to go to bed before I'm ready. I want to stay up and read but they hurt so bad the only relief is to get horizontal. Have a great weekend you two. Maybe you can venture out in a day or two.

I feel ya. All my "do's" have become "don'ts" too. I've always been a big gal, but it never stopped me. I still played baseball, climbed trees, rode my bike for miles. No more. I always had PCOS, so the autoimmune issues went way back, but as I got older I got dx'd with Hashimoto Thyroid and other delightful things. Sad to see it all go, but I'm glad I did what I did when I still could.

im the same way, i have to wait for the gumption to kick in, some time i have to get hateful with myself and kick myself in the seat of the pants just to clean something or minimize the clutter, you know what it is? we get over whelmed and talk ourselves out of doing that specific chore

my 8 yr old sweet oreo passed away yesterday. I'm so upset, she was healthy but they think she had a seizure. I've lost a cat every year since 2021. what do u do when your down or depressed?
