That's a bit on the nose with his last line. I would've phrased it like "Mom was right. I DO regret not eating the liver she'd make for me-" because that's where the Hourai Elixir remains after you drink it and become immortal, but it also works as a general "If I'd eaten more meat I don't think I'd be hurting as bad right now" kinda deal.

the games that are available on Steam are the 10th entry (which is called Mountain of Faith, you can look up the other titles if you want to go in order) and onwards, and they typically cost $15. though you should note that it's only in Japanese and you'd have to use an external tool to patch it into English. for older games, I personally went for a website called Moriya Shrine where you can torrent them, and it also already comes with the English patch so you don't have to do it yourself. this is also helpful as the older games don't normally support Windows 10 or 11. there are fangames of the same bullet hell format that are usually free if you'd like that instead, the only one I've played is called Wonderful Waking World and it's a pretty good one. there are also official games that don't follow the same bullet hell format, like the fighting games, if that's more your thing (though from the looks of it, only the one called Antinomy of Common Flowers is available on Steam, with no sight of the older entries to be found) and I think that's about it, I dumped a lot of info there so in summary: 10th entry and onwards are on Steam and costs $15 and is only in Japanese so you'd have to use a tool to patch it to English, older entries can be torrented through Moriya Shrine, there are also fangames of the same bullet hell format and official games of a different format
