Polypore is also a good boot insole. When fresh is flexible and insulating. Sucks up excess moisture and humidity. Medicinal mushroom keeps down bacteria and germs inside humid boot/foot environment.

I see these a lot but on fallen branches I wasn't certain it was birch. Can you say if there are any look-alikes? This would help me decide if I should bring it home.. :) thanks..
