Saab is a super chill guy IRL.. but at what point people are gonna realise his cop characters leading the PD is a problem. I don't see why Johnson doesn't pursue a discriminatory case. As a black man, if I were in his position, I'd drag them through the courts for this. I'd even have Denzel testify to the PD constantly harassing him and treating black characters more unfairly than other officers. He's too blinded by Ruth, which is it's own problem, to actually handle Johnson's case which would be pretty simple to debunk. Could've brought up the raid that was incorrectly facilitated 2 vs 6 guns is a big difference. Baas is being hostile against a cop that was incorrectly disciplined. I think this is the first time baas has admitted that Johnson's story actually aligned with the other officers story, other than the concussed officer was missing a few details.

It literally would not have mattered what they argued, it wasn't going to help. Slacks is dying on this hill because he does not see himself as being in the wrong. Nor does he see his officers as being in the wrong. He literally said that he heard Mr. K was going to make a complaint and told Johnson that he did make a complaint when he didn't. So he literally fired Johnson for doing the same thing that he thinks Johnson did and that's lie. But he does not see it that way. Slacks does mental gymnastics in his head to convince himself that he's not in the wrong. That's why a lot of his decision-making makes no sense to anyone else but him.

I'm kind of with Slacks on this, Johnson can't use the excuse "If I knew I wouldn't have done it." When multiple times they have told the officers that they can't, Johnson has zero accountability.
