Ramee would have to sue for excessive force to make his DNA fruit of the poisonous tree... a reprimand is not a legal action. "Fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine: A rule under which evidence that is the direct result of illegal conduct on the part of an official is inadmissible in a criminal trial against the victim of the conduct." He should sue it would be interesting to watch

It was more not to establish precedent of officers being justified taking action against regulations in order to obtain evidence.

This is untrue. "Fruit of the poisonous tree" would be decided at trial by a judge, no need to sue for excessive force. Thing is, what's the point of going to trial and let a judge decide when they can just call down a judge and ask them if they think this would fly at a trial. Overall this just highlights why NoPixel (or any GTA RP server) should have A DISTRICT ATTORNEY. For as long as I can remember cops on NoPixel are allowed to be the judge if a judge isn't available, i.e. they hear the defendant's arguments, they decide if they believe them, and then they sentence the defendant however they want if they don't. Meanwhile, if a judge is available but neither the cop nor the defendant want to have a trial then the judge comes down and takes on the role of DA, which results in judges essentially being unable to be impartial.

just to explain what happened here.... real world and NP, if a cop does something illegal to obtain evidence or proof to find a crime, the evidence was obtained illegally and deemed inadmissible. Its a get out of jail free card. The problem is, you did what you did, thats not in dispute... should you get in trouble for what you did if the cop did something they shouldnt to prove you did what you did lol. wild world we live in.

​@wishlistchad3031 it's actually kind of been that way since at least half way through 3.0 with them never reporting cops for failrp or metagaming or anything cause they'd get banned and then the 4.0 stuff where ramee and k would do stuff that's not heard of and then, there'd literally be a law the next day saying "you can't do this" like with k's housing and then ramee using more than 2 lawyers for his court case and it got shut down the next day

Like rammee is wrong on the whole warrant being signed... but he is right about them dropping the whole thing RP wise they had evidence to write the warrant but to save the entire RP he has to get a third party to police the cops to tell them it shouldnt have happened... if they used excessive force he should be able to sue the PD for a few weeks of their pay thats the only way this would be handled properly and also make up for time rammee loss for his negligence on both the assistant chief and lenny

Ramee proves that the polices, regardless the method, got the right criminal as he precisely described what happened. It also demonstrate the state of the SOP makes it so the criminal can not only avoid but abuse the laws. If anything the state should adjust SOP so the police can do this LEGALLY everytime to enforce the law properly. Yes the game name GTA but it's also an RP, polices already shows a lot of restrains. Don't let this turn into brain dead content.
