its not the consquences, its the selective punishment they had. Saab is a pushover who just kinda goes with the flow in RP so with the other captain having personal issues, Ruth got free reign. she played favorites hammering the cops with decent view counts and having Viv do the same. Its hilarious how inept they all were and are. They nitpicked and went after clear RP scenarios, when the issues people have always had with the PD is that during real shit they meta and power game heavy. Perfect example is shooting Ramee after escorting him and using the DNA to write a warrant. Another is magically knowing when its appropriate to charge someone with having a PD gun. They do this crap all the time and it never gets punished. Punishing Cornwood for RPing a storyline that no one was angry at and actually made for good roleplay is stupid and shortsighted. Not punishing people for doing this meta/powergame BS they constantly do is why shit is so toxic and PD is consistently the reason the server gets worse and more toxic.

One of the reasons I stopped playing on 3.0 is because of how corrupt the cops are and it’s because the owners brother or cousin or whatever is the chief of police or some shit so no matter how terrible they act they get away with it. No accountability or checks and balances in the server. I suppose the LS police would be pretty corrupt though but jailing people for 2 hours for playing the game the way it’s supposed to be played is crazy

Exactly the reason i stopped early 3.0, i was basically forced to do low level crime like oxy running cause cops would ruin everything else. No one wants to fucking grind just to roleplay shit sucks. Literally could barely afford asset fees with the amount of money i earned and the amount i got in the city, and even the crime i did do when i saw police they would just fuck you over. Powergame, nvl, and everything under the sun against the biggest group on nopixel, cg, imagine the shit they do against the hundreds of non steamer nobodies.
