Ramen Toy Silverhawks Quicksilver Figure Review

Thank you for the 1st rate review. Yes, you need a little glue to adhere that part on the head. Similarly the magnet on the face. Please do ensure you have the polarity correct when gluing the part to the magnet. We had made a post about this issue on our Facebook. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. In regards to the darker joints, We would like to explain that this was a design choice from the start of our concept. There is a “suit” that Quicksilver puts on, like an “under armor” before his “plates of steel” goes on. Similarly, Mon*Star has an organic soft skin and his armor is the one that he dons. In that sense, both figures were never meant to be completely silver nor completely red. As an add on comment - Quicksilver’s shoulders were later changed to silver (a running change is the term in production) because the grey was too stark based on the way we separated the parts. In hindsight, we could have designed it differently to still have the “under armor” shoulder be grey, but that would mean the shoulder pads cannot be attached to the body and instead attached to the shoulder itself and in that separation, a clear gap would be seen between the body and the shoulder pad which we did not agree with at the time. Thank you. Finally, the entire figure is painted. No injected plastic can produce silver with a reflective sheen. And the wings on TallyHawk can be reversed to angle up.

Also you can put tally hawks wings in either side so if you do it the other way the wings will be further up in the air like you want

I remember seeing Silver Hawks as a kid thode 80's cartoons had great theme songs. Cool looking figure even if it had some issues in badly applied glue. Would love to see M. A. S. K toys that would be cool but i hope they update them slightly.

Yes! Silverhawks! I remember owning Monstar. The show deserves a reboot...as well as Tigersharks. A shame the 2000s Thundercats did not work as they were going to join the universes.

Actually Tally Hawk's wings can be at an angle if you flip them upside down and switch sides (right to left and vice versa)

Great video. Ramen Toys is asking...almost $100 USD 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the silver plastic paint application look cheap, human headsculpt is horrible, the black joints kills the look of the figure. This look more like a $20 USD figure than $100 USD figure. To me is not worth it

Nice looking figure, but too pricey imo. Never understood why companies charge $60-$100+ action figures that are basically just cool looking paperweights. In this case, maybe it’s because this is the first 6” articulated and metallic looking Quicksilver figure out there. Looks better than the upcoming Super7 version.

Mine keeps falling apart at the waste just like the neck it also falls apart and the magnet at the head wasn’t glued on either so I had to go through and glue a bunch of stuff on my figure. Did anybody else have that same issue.

The biggest flaw is it doesn't have the vac metallized original look it's just silver paint, which if I was a fan of this 80s retro cartoon that would be a killer, without it, it doesn't look anything like the original line. Imo

The sculp is not as sharp as it suppose to be. All the detail looks super soft and rounded. Which in this era where most of toy companies go super sharp and detail with their digital moulding. This seems to be a big miss opportunity for the silverhawk property.
