Normally I don't ride my scooter in the rain, but recently I get caught in the rain and but the time I got home I found myself soaked from help to toe in rain water. So how can I prevent this from happening again I soaked my self. That's when I discovered the Scooter Umbrella Sun Shade & Rain Cover. So I figured I would test this Scooter Umbrella Rain Cover out.

The is supposed to be Scooter Umbrella Rain Cover waterproof and so far from what I can tell it is. I was able to buy it from about $30. But I'm sure if you look around you can find it cheaper.

DESCRIPTION:
The Waterproof Scooter Umbrella Rain Cover is describe as rain effectively (preventing the rain) to avoid the front transparent film covered with drops of water can not see. It has Iron bending rods thick, so to accelerate and wind when the stabilization of the role.
In front it has a zipper, you can open when needed to reduce the resistance.
INSTRUCTION:
With rear-view mirror installation:
1. Remove the two rear-view mirrors and mount the bracket on the rear view mirror frame.
2. Insert the two black joints in the front of the product into the mounted bracket.
3. Fix the rope behind the product to the rear of the car
Without rear-view mirror installation:
1.Put bracket on the brake handle
2. Insert the two black joints in the front of the product into the mounted bracket.
3. Fix the rope behind the product to the rear of the car

Damm I need some like this for my bike. Like for real. I need it to cover the sides more. I want t ok be comfy in the rain, a lil light snow. I need to stay nice and dry. I totally get the neon green [ definately cars ]

I can't go 60 on this and even then it's dangerous enough when semi trailers pass u and u get sucked in or blown off . I think it's good if ur only going 5 miles an hour

It can be mounted on a mobility scooter also as long as they have front mirrors or try and tie the front maybe with cable zip belts I used those for accessories eg front mirrors that didnt fit the bar size as its a bit wider that the size of the item belts for on my scooter.The back has to have a part to tie it to like the back of the seat or something like that.

Yes I have mine mounted on a trike. It is perfect, this does not form a perfect cover but then again it does not require extra effort and it provides extra visibility. It is hot here so not at all concerned with a bit of rain. Very good. Initially I was very reluctant, but I very like mine. And it was CHEAP

Ive seen some of your videos I enjoy them your character shines trough!!!!!There is actually a gray (called black in the selection bar on ebay) it has another outline not that flashy but only a few sellers sell it.It costs a bit more some 40$-50$ as also the post is higher for that one.As my TGA Eclipse Mobility scooter is black with red accents I preffer a more one tone color as I would look quite funny I think (I also personally customized it to have fire and ghostrider accessories so it will look funny with a pink roof as thats the only one I could find lol!I also found a fiber solid canopy one that doesnt stick to the front but its around 80$. Also I found a guy who did one himself by reusing items he found. I hope you make more like this as I am customizing my (baby) yes thats what we call it my son and I are in love with it and we search for new stuff for it all the time. A big thumbs up for all your content and informative bubbles on the video!!!👍👑🚵

Thank you, I'm 74 and disabled so I'm fitting mine to my mobility scooter. My canopy came with only written instructions (no photos) so your video was vital to me. My front metal brackets came with clamps to fasten to handle bars but there was no room so I followed your instructions and used the rear view mirrors to fit these.

I understand your pain. My 83cc VIP tops at 40-45 mph actual speed. You might want to consider a big bore kit. I've driven mine wide open throttle for the last 750 kilometers no prob. It accelerates faster, gets up to speed more consistently, sounds beefier even with the same exhaust, and feels more like you are on a motorcycle. Its easy to install as well.

I'd pick the purple too. In my 70s and wouldn't be caught dead in a mobility scooter. I'm trying to figure out how I could fit it to my ebike many more people have ebikes but no covers. . In florida we get fast thunderstorms and I can't see or breathe. Do you think it would fit on the large scooter rearveiw mirrors I have ? I've already figured out how to make drop sides with some glassine, ties and velcro for fast dropping even tackier but at my age WGAF not me. I've seen the bikes that are completely covered but nobody has that kind of money that's why none of them are on the streets.

Thanks so much for this review. I'm looking at these for a mobility scooter. Not sure if the front attachment rods will work on it and I wondered what happens to it when you steer. I'm pretty sure this would act like a parachute at any speed over 12km p/hr!

Just a tip, I had mine like this for a few years now with no issues riding at fast speeds, unzip the front part so the wind will pass through inside and distribute it evenly inside.

I would think at 25-30mph the wind would catch it causing for an unstable ride. Also, is there any type of distortion while looking through the front clear vinyl panel ? I don't know, but it just seems a bit unsafe to me. That's just my opinion

Being attached to the handlebar mirror mounts, I'd be afraid that a gust of wind would catch the rain roof like a sail and yank the handlebars around. Was this your experience?

You could possibly use a bolt as a replacement for the mirror not being there one that side. Find a bolt with the proper diameter and length to screw it in the hole where the mirror would have gone. Hope this helps.

Cool product, and great price. Was it designed specifically for the make and model of your scooter? I would be afraid to ride it in high winds or high speeds, but if it's a light to medium rain while in city traffic it could be okay. Be careful in cross-wind areas too.

all you need to change your stock muffler for a loud one i did up grade i took my stock exhaust for a loud exhaust it's loud it's crome it matches my scooter is silver it's a 2017 Tao tao atm i payed 50 dollars for my exhaust cool video

i have three of them and it was a pain in the ass to open .not very good with high cross winds and rain.but mostly it will keep light rain off you .may rain on your shoes .in heavey rain but mostly you will keep dry not very good in high wind. in a cross wind i recomend 20 to 25 miles a hour to be safe.when the wind is calm you can go up to 35 mph.i live in north carolina right on the beach winds around here can be very high to ride in with that cover .some times its just like having your own personal sail.

Rain gear is best used, bright orange, red bright or green bright is best but best not to ride until the rain stops always make sure your front tire is good not just have good grooves but not old and hard.

Maybe it'll be a great idea for the hot Texas summer. I have watched alot of videos of scootering in the far east where they have a rainy season, but never saw one of those before. I think it's way better to pack your rain gear, and get it on before you get wet. Still, I'm waiting for your summer trial, I'll bet it comes in handy and you'll have shade at the fast food drive thru, so, it's worth the price.
