@@vishalgup it was interesting your question on astrology. Did you know about Ramesh's experience with the nadi astrologer?

@@vishalgup apparently he went with a friend and had a nadi reading, this was in 1950 I believe. The nadi astrologer said you'll have a guru for 20 years, then a few years after your retirement you'll meet your true guru and the progress will be quick. Which is basically what happened. I think Ramesh had subscribed to the Ramana Ashram newsletter "The Mountain Path" and there was an article on Nissargadatta Maharaj and then he realised that Nissargadatta was in the same city, so he went. The friend he went to the nadi astrologer with apparently had a very interesting thing happen. In one of the confirmation questions they told them all the names of the people who were present in the room when their father died. All the names! And Ramesh has apparently said that only trust a nadi astrologer that has names and dates. I first heard about this back when I met Ramesh in around 1996, but I was travelling in India in 2001 and my friend really wanted to go to go to a nadi place in Tamil Nadu., so we travelled all the way down to this little town. Anyway, at this place they had names.. mine, parents, wife.. . date of birth.. and various other details as part of their indexing system to be verified with a yes or no answer.. We also went to this place in Bangalore where they didn't provide anything like that.. and actually Ramesh warned about that same place I found out later haha It was interesting how he said in your talk with him that some people seem to have this ability to see the future. This is really only possible if the future is already there .. as Ramesh says the movie is in the can. Perhaps these Rishis, or whoever made these predictions had it to an exceptional degree. Actually in my nadi reading they told me i also have the ability to see the future and that's true, I do. But it only happens now and then and I don't cultivate it really.. usually I'll just see something before waking up in the morning and I'll just know somehow. It's uncanny and very specific. Anyway, enough about that, but I guess from my experience i know that kind of this is possible.

He is not getting the “free will” concept because his version of the definition of it is different from Balsekar. Why not pit it this way, “ it is predetermined already but what has been determined has not been divulged to the “doer” or the person that thinks “he is doing the deed”. In fact the very notion that there is no doer makes the version of the definition of this gentleman’s idea of free will moot.

This doesn't make sense. Will this legal system let criminals go free if they would say that their crime was pre determined and they are not the 'doer'? It is not one size fits all concept. There are flaws in every science including advaita philosophy...a man made philosophical science concept. At the end of the day, every one of us has the social responsibility to take ownership of our actions to live in this Universe in this janma to maintain peace inside and outside.
