i have so much to do...............wait, another Rami Malek interview??!! Let's watch that! He's so engaging, so intelligent, humble and seems like a genuinely nice guy. He was hysterical in Larry Crowne, just darn cute in Night at the Museum, captivating in Breaking Dawn, mesmerizing in Mr. Robot and absolutely phenomenal in Bohemian Rhapsody!! I need to check out his other roles as well. I really hope Hollywood recognizes what an amazing talent he is and that he wins and Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody - hands down his deserves it. His transformation into Freddie Mercury was just so captivating! I cannot wait to see what his next role brings us.

Delusion. You are loving the reputation, the TV shows/Movies he has been in etc, his looks. Truly ask yourself do you know him? You do know what most celebrities have to do to gain position? Loving celebrities is devoid of true love. There are people out there that are noble and actually do good. Actors, musicians etc are what influence most people into becoming zombies. Focus on finding the reason you were put on this earth. It's really not hard to find out why. Once you do what you were created to do you would feel more fulfilled.

I've always thought that "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is a load of BS, but there is a small grain of truth in it. During time, when one takes punches and either staggers or rolls with them, one suffers, but one also builds fortitude, resilience and most important - experience, so that one would not get surprised by same bullshit life throws at them twice.

as a interviewer if you have the option of having one this long then when you bring up a talking point about modern television its great and interesting to compare a story told show by show like Mr.Robot along others that experience success with the same formula such as Fargo, The Walking Dead, Southland, Hannibal, Game of Thrones and others of the like because they reflect on the modern T.V trend and the fact viewers are now more interested into a story driven show that draws you in for the long hauls and payoffs rather then the CSI formula of resolving a story in 30-45 minutes. I feel like actors always enjoy having that discussion because essentially a Actors job is to be a storyteller so it's always compelling to hear them go in depth about thier craft. Shame I couldn't be a in a postion such as yours but you're lucky you get to interview people as talented as Mr. Malek is. Good interview none the less and glad you recognized him in The Master because it's in my top 10
@brentulstad32756 ай бұрын
I just rewatched the entire series again & still in awe at how authentic and wholly original Mr. Robot is. The balance of the emotionally charged immediate performances with the potential of the "high concept" genre elements are truly remarkable. The kind of dramatic fiction storytelling which simultaneously makes the viewer more observant, uping ones cinematic IQ so to speak, but nearly effortless in doing so. Every cinematic element working at the highest level of quality.

LOST is my favourite show of all-time and definitely one of the most intriguing and cleverly written--not to mention fantastically acted, shot, and lit--even with the dragging out between seasons two and three. Interesting how similar and yet how different Josh and Elliot are. Both are depressed. Both see therapists to deal with their problems and their lives. But that's where the comparisons end. People in the comments talk about Rami being afraid of typecasting. Yes, both Josh and Elliot suffer mentally, but how they suffer and how Rami performs these characters are very unique. Josh suffers withdrawals, causing hallucinations based on his feelings of regret, fear, and grief. Elliot suffers from (SPOILER!!) a rare mental disorder called DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) which was based on his painful upbringing by his parents and his feelings of shame. Josh had a huge mental breakdown while Elliot slowly degraded into a constant battle of 'minds', or identity/persona. Very different. I am glad both are different, and both are great, dynamic characters. But Mr. Robot gets a second season while Josh remains the ONE character of the main 8 that can't be saved no matter what.
