YouTube TV Playback Error (and solution!)

KZbin TV keeps returning a playback error on an Amazon Fire Stick whenever I try to tune a channel using the Amazon Alexa powered voice remote.
The solution to this error is to log out of your KZbin TV account, then log back in. This restores the Alexa functionality to "change channels".
Update, 2/24/21: I no longer subscribe to KZbin TV. But I will keep this video up as a demonstration.

And the answer was for me (Not shown on this video) to uninstall the YTTV app and immediately add it again. Solved the problem immediately. Unsure if there was an update version that didn't take thus putting me into no-authentication playback hell - but this worked for me. Good luck to all and Kyle... (dude....if you advertise a solution....at least have one.)

I can't believe this worked! Kept getting playback errors, couldn't get to the first screen. Pressed the back button, the schedule comes up. Not all info is there, I go to library back to schedule, and there it is! Ty!

I just fixed the problem. All I did was turn off the tv, then unplug the FireTV stick, waited 20 seconds and then plugged the firestick back in amd turned tv back on - now it works

Same here. App works just fine on tv upstairs; downstairs tv been getting playback error all day. It has done this in the past and I've resolved it by deleting the app and reinstalling. Done that twice today and still getting error. Hoping someone has a fix for this.

The fix is to log out then log back in. Not sure why/how this fixes the Alexa functionality but it works.

A different temporary solution is to go to settings and application management and clear KZbin TV cache. It is still very annoying but to me is easier than having to log back into KZbin TV

Amazon is Google's most significant and greatest rival. This is why the FireStick doesn't make it easy to install YT TV to begin with, like other apps such as Netflix or Hulu.

So annoying! KZbin TV sucks! I thought it was economically reasonable; however, it's really frustrating with the inconsistency of the app. By the way this video DID NOT give a solution...or did I miss it?????
