She IS a living legend - which is why she should retire and let us treasure all the memories of that spectacular voice from days gone by. @e.m.tanner1793 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. I am a HUGE Streisand fan and consider Ramin one of the best male baritones around today. Yet I was VERY disappointed that Barbra hardly acknowledged him as they were performing their duet. She probably doesn't consider him the REAL 'Phantom', since she is such good friends with Michael Crawford (the original 'phantom'). Whatever the reason, I was very unhappy to see her blatant disregard for such an amazing talent as Ramin Karimloo. Yet she puts someone like Chris Pine on her duets LP, who couldn't carry a note in a bucket. What's the matter Barbra,... did you owe somebody a favor?

Barbra Streisand is a legend and an icon. Great singer, great actor, great director, great producer. She has inspired millions, including the likes of Lea Salonga and Sierra Boggess. She gives to charity and all that stuff. With that said, she's also one of the most arrogant celebrities the earth has ever known. This performance is nothing more than arrogant Barbra being arrogant Barbra. I do not criticize her performance per se, but rather how she handled the duet. It's so obvious that she's trying to "show up" Ramin Karimloo. She knows that she is Sierra's idol and instead of being flattered or appreciative, she gets on her high horse and tries to show that she is above Sierra and her peers- in this case, Sierra's best friend. She tries to outperform him and fails miserably- that's called 'karma'. This is Barbra Streisand showing her true colors. When Ramin found out he will be singing with Barbra, I'm sure he told Sierra immediately. Sierra obviously knows about this performance and you would think she'd be ranting and raving about it on social media, yet I have not seen or heard anything from her regarding this. She's obviously upset that her idol disrespected and disregarded her best friend.
