Hi Ramadhan, very interesting! I would like to go back in time to the last glacial maximum (LGM), however, I am extremely bad with code. Could you add negative numbers to your map so that we can see what the sea level was like, approximately, during LGM when sea levels were about 125 meters (410 feet) lower than today?

Hmm you can also do it with QGIS. Download the DEM data then subtract the DEM by 125 meter

Thanks! this is an interesting work to get a general overview. However, not very accurate (as only checks the elevation of an area but does not check whether that area is connected to the oceans, thus marks the isolated areas as drown) and have some rendering issues in some areas where it does not show as drown when it should be.

That is true

I'm new to inundation modeling, and quite liked @Ramadhan's visualisation. Would you mind explaining a bit more @nikkkk1633 where the action could be written to validate an ocean connection? A slightly obtuse ask/assignment (Sorry! I'm new. :D ) - dp you see anything obvious that is fouling the rendering to lose drown areas? Thanks @Ramadhan for the great visualisation, and @nikkkk1633 for the tips to improve.
