There's nothing wrong with living with in-laws AS LONG AS THE WOMAN IS HAPPY TO. A lot of the time, a daughter-in-law is expected to do all the caring of her in-laws which is unfair if the son is the one who's choosing to stay for that reason. Of course, some women are naturally caring and would gladly do that, but just because you as a son want to be there for your parents, you don't turn your wife into a maid.

Cousin marriage is permissible because hundreds of years ago, it was very important to keep the family intact for the sake of survival. Nowadays, unless you live in a rural village in Pakistan or Afghanistan where your family is still tribal and needs to preserve the family wealth, there’s no need for cousin marriage because of the 1/4 chance that the child comes out with serious health problems. Cousin marriage is wrong if there’s no necessity for it but totally fine 1000 years ago when it was necessary. Moderation and rationality is key, even with halal things.

I would love to add that Lahore is better than Karachi :p But karachi is pretty cool too. And another thing is that it really depends on family to family if the couple shoud live with the parents or not. sometimes the parents are too old to be left alone and other times they are perfectly independent and healthy. so there is defo no hard and fast rule to this. In pakistan, we do live with inlaws but i think abroad it is different as the dynamic of working is different here too! my 2 cents lol! great channel tho!
