I heard from others that they don't play certain songs because 1. It doesn't flow with the setlist and/or 2. The song is very slow paced and calm in comparison to their more "exciting" songs. It could also have to do with stage performances. Nebel is a beautiful song, but the performance was rather boring. They [Rammstein] want to put up a good performance and provide that "exciting" energy. It was a choice they made to keep their concerts more investing. I personally would've loved for them to play great songs like Alter Mann, Amour, and Nebel instead of the mainstream popular songs like Du Hast and Feuer Frei. It's just a choice they stuck with since most of their fans listen to them to get energized and hyped up.

the problem is that there's a certain amount of people that go to their live shows only for du hast, feuer frei or other commercial songs. i would like that the band focused more on the musical side than the "show" side, even if that requires less pyro and shit

Alter Mann, Nebel, Klavier, and the never played Eifersucht are all be songs I'd kill to hear live.

hehe, til came on stage with a black coat which burned and the first song was "Rammstein - Ein Mensch brennt", we where like what the fuck haha it was also 1 of the aggressivest Concerts iv ever seen, hehe and the price was about 18 euros or something like that, the second time iv seen them also in Austria in "Arena", also a amazing concert, it was open air and when fluke got into the boat when they played "Seemann" it started easily to rain, but it was a warm day, the mood was just perfect real

@MetalEngel025 And Düsseldorf, Germany on May 15th, 1997. Those are the only three performances as far as I know. It's possible it was played more than three times, but those are the only three recorded performances. This is most likely the first ever performance.

@Tyger448 ive seen them in austria also in rockhaus performing the Herzeleid cd, which wasnt even out, only "wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen was on a cd compilation, fuck it was one of the best conzerts iv seen, support was Stahlhammer, just epic**

@Castanedaria support group was "Stahlhammer, an austrian band, but honestly when i played them first time in my club everyone asked me if im stupid to play that shit, a year after every asshole listened to them, nowadays they are to commercial and take a load of money for theyr ticketts, anyway the best rammstein, was herzeleid, like i told its 100% pure aggression haha, have fun dude^^
