@@xsezz The main stage was at the end of the arena which they used for most of the show. In the centre of the arena was this stage...the size of a postage stamp and completely encircled by the audience. Using all the theatrics and dry ice, this huge overhead gantry began hissing and descending from the roof which the band used to 'crawl' from the main stage to the centre stage. Absolutely jaw dropping!

By the way the Liquid is PERNOD or OUZO (dry anise-flavoured aperitif - both alkohol) mixtured with water. This performance was controversial, and once led to Lindemann and Lorenz being arrested after a concert on June 5, 1999 in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was to much for the puritan US-friends, although they have the greatest porn industry. God bless america for this :-) lol

The ball gag in Flake's mouth was a nice touch. The band was arrested for performing this in my home town of Boston, so I've heard. Wouldn't surprise me knowing the Puritan Police Dept. 🤤

Yeah, and now, everytime Rammstein comes to the US, Till and Flake are delayed and questioned by the officers at the airport, because they have a permanent record in the US. The band already knows that and so they usually have (ordered) two vehicles. The others go on ahead to the hotel and Till and Flake will join them later.

I believe they are fined $100 each (Till and Flake), every time they enter the US. The arrest was on the Family Values Tour with Korn, Anthrax, Ice Cube (who got the unhappy experience of getting on stage after Rammstein, which one should never do according to the guys in Anthrax), and more rock bands. Richard says in the documentary about the Rammstein - US relationship that they felt so inadequate, because the others were so talented, while they were trying to hide their own lack of talent with a few flamethrowers. I would disagree, and so would everyone else on that tour.
