For me, it's the story of a young German boy losing his virginity to a more experienced French girl or possibly a French prostitute. You have the initial timidity as he's unsure what to do and then the triumph of having achieved his aim. Springtime bloomed for him in Paris suggesting his sexual awakening occurred there. That was a note that Till held there. Impressive lung capacity remaining from his junior Olympic swimming days. Beautiful song and a great homage to Paris.

well explained👍 (maybe the young man was Till himself, who knows?😉)

Powerful ballad! I love the homage to Edith Piaf, a great french singer.

Had never heard this song until I bought the full album. Then it became one of my favourite songs of theirs.

In the power ballads like this one, you can see and hear Till's vocal talent.😍😍😍😍 This song is usually played as an encore when they play in France. When you play in Mexico, you play "Te quiero Puta" at the end. In Russia, "Moscow" is/was played as an encore. It is a homage to the French fan community. General has Rammstein songs for countries that love the band extremely fanatically: France - "Frühling in Paris", Russia - "Moskau", Mexico/Spain - "Te quiero Puta!!!

To think that was an encore! After singing for hours still so much air and voice left. Even opera singers have to be careful ... Bravo, Till!

That's not an encore. FiP was the 8th song on the setlist of the LIFAD Tour. It was an encore on the Paris shows of the MIG Tour.

Mate one would think you're addicted to this band with how you're like a composer towards the end! 😉The chord progression in this song is mind blowing. Your typical Rammstein ballad with the heaviness. Glorious!

You dead right about the song , only take away the woman and replace her with the city Paris and you’ve got a love song about the city itself
