What people don't understand about Rammstein is that Till likes to take on dark characters that represent the worst in humanity. He writes his lyrics in this way and becomes the character on stage when performing. I believe this desire that rammstein has in wanting to expose the darkest aspects of human nature has to do with them growing up while the Berlin wall was still up. They grew up in East Berlin where everyday life was full of censorship and communist rules. Just look at anybody that grows up in an oppressed environment and see what that does to them. I've had the pleasure of seeing them live three times right in front of the stage and I would never pass on it if given the chance again.

@@tedowf Oh cool. One of the places I saw them in was actually in LA also at the Forum. Don't worry, nothing to be nervous about but I will say that if you're close to the stage, the pyrotechnics are no joke lol It can be overwhelming at times since it's so hot. At the LA show I remember seeing the security guards giving out ice water constantly to audience members that were close to the stage like me because a surprising amount kept falling over from the heat. It can be very intense.

I'm taking my wife who is not really into metal or Rammstein in particular but she gonna learn to love it that night! I've watched all their live performances and I need to see that in person. We'll be in the seats, near the floor but not general admission pit.

I had never been to a Rammstein concert so I didn't want any possible moshing to ruin my experience lol Surprisingly I don't remember any moshing at Rammstein concerts but the heat is intense in front of the stage, maybe that's why 🤔😅
