There's a fairy tale by the Grimm Brothers about a girl called "Liesel", "Das Gänseliesel", who's looking after the king's gaggle (flock) of geese and who's taking them to a meadow every day. But the story is different, there's no r*pe in it. The Liesel of this story is made to dress as a boy by her father, a poor farmer, because the king is looking for boys to look after his geese... In the end, the king finds out the truth and marries her.

I‘m pretty sure you already reacted to „Roter Sand“ which is the exact same song, but with different lyrics

The lyrics were a little off sometimes but you get the picture. For example in 3:03 he sings "and has sung into the child" which is a metaphor for sex obviously.

Not only Rammstein do horror with whistles: Goethe's "Heideröslein" (3rd verse!) is very rough in sweet disguise.

I think the topic of this one is really even worse. The geese were often herded by young girls because they are harmless and the song sounds kind of a nursery rime. I guess Liese is quite young. Great reaction!

Hello from germany 🙂 "Roter Sand" by Rammstein is better, it's the same melody. listen to it. I can also recommend the song “Eisenmann” by Rammstein 👍🙃

Don't understand what's going on in Till's head xO don't understand the intent of the text. Should the scythe represent the pee-pee? Or is it really about a scythe?

Rammstein lyrics are often ambiguous. They deal with the dark and perverse side of humanity. The content of the lyrics is usually pain, violence and perverse sexual fantasies. They hold a mirror up to society.
@brigittegranier34685 ай бұрын
not usually. I find many songs without that. But they also hold up a mirror 🤗

Great song but the translation wasn't very good, as in it wasn't a literal translation and more a localization...most lines were paraphrased which often either missed details, misinterpreted details or gave wrong details that weren't even there. And even metaphors were undone...for example "Goldflut" means "golden flood" which metaphorically describes the wheat field like a body of water where they're hiding beneath the surface, whereas the paraphrasation here only conveys "the wheat field is golden, and they're hiding in it". The literal translation into english works just like the original (in all the other cases aswell), so I don't get why it had to be paraphrased in the first place, it's like they're trying to explain the meaning of each line...but that's not how the song goes.

I'm a Rammstein fan, but their songs with sexual innuendo sometimes get on my nerves..😮💨
