Okay I'll try an interpretation of the video. The core is, that Rammstein has often been accused of being a Nazi band. In this song they refer to the accusals of being Nazis and say they are left wing. "Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck, doch seh ich dann nach unten weg, dann schlägt es links" is the core message. In English: "They want my heart at the right spot, but when I look down, it beats on the left" "Links 2,3,4" is the typical military mashing order in Germany, but furthermore it's part of the "Einheitsfrontlied" by Brecht, which is about unifying the working class to fight the fascists. In the sense of the song, the video has an anti-fascist meaning. Ants are animals who often symbolise as hard workers, so this ant society may be symbolic for the working class, with the bugs who try to destroy the ants, being a symbol for the Nazis. So the message of the video along to the song is, that the working class shall work together in solidarity to defeat the Nazis.

@@dallesamllhals9161 Left = equality, right = elitism. Hardcore right = ultra brutal despotism where the vast majority are slaves. Hardcore left = no hierarchy at all, what in itself can have many problems of course, almost everything is a question of balance. But right has no balance as its very definition. It's the old "the few rule over the many".

@@anaskournif9290 Doesn't go that far. It's overall the powerful few vs the many weak. But when the many weak hold together, even the strong go not chance to surpress them. What IS indeed what right (the few with power rule) vs left (everyone is of equal right) is about.

That was the first Rammstein-Video my sons have seen, they loved the ants and the lyrics are harmless. But I love the lyrics. They are really great. Great Reaction again. you mean to hear ants in the lyrics but he sings Herzen (heart) ;) the German word for ant (Ameise) sounds really different ;)
