The true beauty of the Rammstein percussion is it's simplicity. There's no need for a "Danny Carey playing 50 gazillion different time signatures in the span of 5 minutes blasting your brain with insanity". Just clean playing that gets your body moving! Excellent work guy! Hats off!

I agree! The groove on Rammstein is key! It's all about power and pocket! Although I am a fan of busy playing (when appropriate) it's always fun to just ply in the pocket!

this is very cool, what microphones do you have for recording? and what do you connect them to

Thanks for watching! I use a Shure SM-57 on the snare, electro-voice PL35s on all the toms, a Shure PGA-52 for the kick (through the port), two Rode NT5s as the overheads. They all connect into the Tascam US-16X08 Digital interface, which you can see over my right shoulder on my desk in the video. I use Mogami XLR cables. The Tascam is USB connected to the computer, and I record into Logic.

Было бы еще круто поставить камеру на бочку - на ногу именно, как бьется бочка! Видео хорошее, достойно лайка, но камера одна - скучно! Исправь в следующих видосах! :-)
