I love that they have this song. How many bands, of whom present themselves as hard, dark, intense, straight, but can rock out a song about the experience of someone gay without anyone judging their orientation?

Thanks for your reaction!!!🙌🙌 I was glad to listen to this song here. 😺 I really appreciate this song. I loved Rammstein before this song, but after this song I love them even more. As an LGBTQ+ person, I would say that Rammstein 100% conveyed the feeling that I sometimes experience in life - this is such a mixture of anger, pain and fatigue. Sometimes it seems that if I hear at least one word more from "cold-tongued people", then my endurance will not be enough and I will just start screaming. And then I remember Rammstein and their courage to express themselves and I feel a little better. I feel that some see me. That some still understand me. I'm not ashamed of myself. I feel self-acceptance.But sometimes I just find it hard and painful to deal with social stigma. I am grateful to Rammstein for their freedom of speech and courage and and no judgment. When my heart freezes on some days I listen to them, and then the the sun also shines in my face and my heart becomes warmer.🥲😌

you get the meaning totally right in your analysis. let me tell you one little word play as a native german speaker. the phrase "meine haut gehört dem herrn / my skin belongs to the gentlemen" is a multi meaning in german. "herrn" can translate as men OR master/dominator. so by slang, you get 2 meanings. on "men", its the impossible change of a natural born sexual orientation, on "master", its more the punishment side, not to be free and always have to be conformative, not natural. great statement song! keep it up, my friend 🤘
