The lyrics is a play on the German wedding wouls. And, Du hast (with just one s) means "You have", but with 2 s (hasst) it means "you hate". So when you first hear it you would think he is singing "you hate me" But when he sings the word "gefragt", you realize he is singing "you have asked me". Thats the genius of this song.

They sing the words that the Priest ask, you when you marry. He is divorced and his Ex Wife had married an other Bandmember. So its like he say no to the Priest.The Women voice says yes but he say always no. So be carefull what you find great.If you watch" Ich tu dir weh" be sure you had a translation.Otherwise you had an Nightmare coming on you.

Funny how some comments exactly describe, what you already said in the lyrics - about t meaning of the lyrics. Your German is not really bad, and at least you understand what they're saying. Really liked your reaction, and that you like Queen, too. So you like my two favorite bands, as well. If you want, just watch ich will, live from the hurricane festival. There's some crowd participation, too, and I'm sure you'll love it.

Quite a show and crowd and in Paris, yet. "Although the German phrase does not translate to English, "Du hast" can mean "you have," but it can also mean "you hate." Therefore the song has two meanings.
