BUT, I rather find it sad that some "non German speaker" sometimes reduce Rammstein to their live shows with certain pyros. Rammstein is sooo much more than this. The pyros are just a nice gimmick and underlines their music and really deep lyrics.

Hello there, again. A lot of people think the song is just about sex. Which is only the top layer, if you will. But since this was the 1st song on their 1st album, it's actually the introduction what Rammstein was gonna be about: disturbing the peace, touch on uncomfortable topics, in your face music. No compromises, no sugar coating. Of course, there are softer songs as well, but at heart they have always remained true to themselves respectively their motto, announced in this song. "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" is the first song on Rammstein's first album. It introduces the band and their music to the audience. The line in the chorus should actually politely sound, "". Just yelling the name Rammstein here at the same time underlines the direct way they make music, whether people want to hear it or not.

Till, the singer is a certified Pyrotechnician. When you are dealing with all that fire on stage it is mandatory to have a certified Pyrotechnician. That is why he trained to become one. Two birds with one stone I guess.

Mein Teil live at Hurricane fest (educatedmarine has it with English lyrics on his channel) is what you're after for more theatrics, Suesue. Most Rammstein songs you need to know the lyrics tbh but this one not necessarily, the visuals are cool and the songs fairly simple and driving. You wanna go Funny-Flake-in-a-bathtub-direction, you gotta go Mein Teil. Btw Rammstein in Paris is a concert movie that mixes actual live footage with pre-recorded performance-sequences which the director shot with the members in the days before the show. He also enhanced the footage with a visual effects. It´s ok but too artificial for my taste. It´s more a movie than a concert recording. For my money the ultimate live recording of Rammstein is "Völkerball", movie of their concert in Nimes in 2008. Rammstein at their peak though their still great.

I love the entire video album of Rammstein Paris. I highly recommend everyone who listens to Rammstein. Its on par with the 2005 LIVE album Volkerball and I cant really distinguish. Once again amazing reaction. We all love Till showcasing his skills for being an experienced Pyrotechnician
