Rammstein - Synth presets and samples used in the Sehnsucht album (Part 2)

A good amount of samples, Ensoniq and Nord Lead presets used in the Sehnsucht album.

In this album, Flake used his Ensoniq ASR-10, and his AKAI S3200, most likely, for the Zero-G Releases. He also used RZK Nord Lead, which has some presets created by him.

Transwave? Reminds me psytrance project named Transwawe. And yes,all of the sounds used in this video sounds very psychedelic, acidic ❤❤❤❤❤

Transwave is a technology was developed by Ensoniq for their sampler ASR-10. It may remind wavetable synthesis similar Serum, for instance.

Well, yes, it wasn't only available on the ASR-10 though, almost all Ensoniqs since the EPS-16 Plus had transwaves. It's similar to wavetable, but transwaves has something in it that doesn't make the sound clicky, that's why it's still good and sometimes used today.

No, it's the Nord Lead that was owned by RZK (Rammstein lead guitarist), and used in Sehnsucht studio. Those presets you can't find on a stock Nord Lead.

Factory presets and sample packs... how uncreative! Flake needs to take a page out of Trent Reznor and cEvin kEy's book by learning some fk'n sound design! Good work finding all of this, though!

It's really hard to create synth sounds for each song, and it's not uncreative to use factory stuff, it's also hard to find even factory samples that will fit good in a song. Also, as I said earlier, a good job isn't only in the creation of sounds, but in the selection of even factory ones, and being able to come up with a melody with them.
