Three hours to decorate a tree? I wish! Mine take about 3 days each. They are 7ft and for hospices. I put SO many decorations on them. Someone asked me once, "How do you know when you have finished the tree?" I replied, "when I have to catch it!" I have arthritis in my fingers and other disabilities. Also I have to use tiny cable ties on every decoration to attach everything to each tree. That takes all the time. People brush past the trees and you cannot have glass baubles taking off and shattering on them. :) I LOVE doing them though and the hospices are just so grateful. My payment is seeing the smiles the trees create.

I was so impressed with the laying of the 4 inch gold lamae ribbon with the accent of the Emerald Green ribbon on first tree, Then I fell in LOVE with the Halequin Ribbon Tree, which to me looks ike the Mad Hatter Tree. Absolutly Stunning!. BTW, I have started collecting ribbon for my Christmas Tree 2023. I have never done that before, but I have to say I am looking forward to decorating for Christmas this year. Even thinking of putting up two trees. The plaid tree is DARLING! The Roses and gardland were the icing on the tree. Love it! Ramon, you have such a gift with selecting ribbon. Last tree has that rustic home feel to it. Cool the way you worked the green plaid ribbon as a garland around the tree. Loved the finiishing touch of the fine berry garland. The oversized ornaments are gorgeous and statement making! I'm so inspiried by all that you shared with us on this video. Your tutorials are the BEST. Thank you for all that you share. It takes me all season from the time I put up the tree til I take it down. 😊 I’m always looking at it and adjusting ornaments and the branches. Initially it will take me about 3 - 4 hrs. I’m going to attempt putting ribbon on it this year.

Thanks Ramon for demonstrating 4 ways to use ribbon on a Christmas tree. I have never done this technique before and after watching this DIY video I am a bit more confident to try. I'm thinking about trying this with the two 4 ft trees I place on the side of my fireplace. I usually decorate them with candy ornaments. So, I'm thinking a pink ribbon, a candy cane striped one, and maybe a lacy white one. Because the area is compact, I think I need the thinner type of ribbon; maybe no more than 3 inches and 2.5 inches.

I love decorating my Christmas tree. It was only when the children (5 of them) were little, did I let anyone else decorate my tree. This year, we are empty nesters, and I spent nearly 10 hours decorating my tree. There are nearly 1000 ornaments on it, 4 dozen picks, and 3 bolts of craft, open type ribbon, and 1- 90 yard bolt of gilded lace ribbon on it. It is 9 1/2 feet tall and has nearly 1000 lights on it. I think it's beautiful! I love it and it set the mood for the rest of my decorations!

Love all of your ribbon tips and styles! Love the 3 combo look. In your opinion which would take the least amount of ribbon? Reason I ask is I bought 3 1/2 inch green velvet ribbon last year that I love but I can’t seem to get another roll in time for me to start decorating, so I just have the one roll but I want to add the two of the colors gold and the black and white tree ribbon to make it fuller. but which way should I do it on a 7 1/2 foot tree that I should be able to get by with the one roll of green velvet?
